    Jacques Maritain is a gifted writer and a philosopher of the first order. A Roman Catholic and the author of many successful books, his market is more or less made. The subject of this one will draw many and it is as intensely penetrating and interesting as the title implies. There is a ""Freedom"" cult and we all know the ""Moderns"" so link them up.
